Oystercatchers
Creative Direction | UX/UI
Oystercatchers is one of the UK’s leading marketing management consulting, and marketing outsourcing companies.
As Art Director, I led the visual direction for the refresh of Oystercatcher’s marketing site, with a focus on elevating their identity while staying true to the company’s quietly confident positioning. The goal was to bring a clearer expression of their role to life—distinct, intelligent, and contemporary—without overwhelming the content or the users.
Early in the process, I suggested that we create a case study section to better showcase Oystercatcher’s expertise and results. This would not only enrich the content experience but also help prospective clients understand the tangible impact of their work. The team embraced the idea, and it became a pivotal part of the new site architecture.
For the visual system, I developed a set of custom abstract shapes using blend techniques—creating organic, fluid forms that represent Oystercatcher’s ability to adapt, guide, and connect. These shapes function as a subtle yet strong presence across the site—never too loud, always intentional. They mirror the company’s role as the quiet force behind high-performing partnerships: essential, considered, and seamlessly integrated.
