Foresight News
Creative Direction | UX/UI
Foresight News is an essential calendar of forthcoming news and events, used by media, PR agencies and press offices around the world.
The company wanted “To update the overall design for a more modern/clean look and feel and improve UX of content discovery. 90% traffic driven on Grid/List events landing page, these design changes are to improve user experience in filtering and surfacing most important content.“
For Foresight News, I led the creative direction and UX/UI design of a Single Page Application (SPA), refreshing the brand while enhancing usability and performance. The goal was to modernize the experience without losing the essence of the existing identity. I introduced subtle but meaningful changes—refining the logo for a cleaner, more contemporary look, and updating the typography to a sans serif for improved readability and flexibility across responsive layouts.
Color coding per category was preserved, honoring the original design concept and helping users quickly differentiate content types.
Given the calendar’s critical role as the platform’s centerpiece, I redesigned the interface to utilize a full-screen layout. This approach significantly improved readability and made the experience more pleasant and immersive. Additionally, filters were made instantly accessible on the same screen, streamlining navigation and empowering users to tailor their view effortlessly.
Overall, the redesign balanced respect for the existing brand with thoughtful improvements to usability, clarity, and visual appeal.
